Inspection and the time file
A control asks for coherent hours: who worked, from when until when, and how a correction was made. Horodata prepares that file. It does not guarantee the outcome of an inspection.

What you can show
The register of time worked: in, out, breaks, employee. The PDF of the last 90 days is a continuous reading of it. The journal in the app chains events with a hash, including corrections and exports.
A correction shows the reason, the requester and the manager who approved it. The original time is not overwritten. That is often the contrast with a spreadsheet rewritten the night before a visit.
What the file does not prove by itself
The register does not say whether the working-time regime, premiums or rest periods are compliant. It says what was clocked, and how that was changed. The legal judgement stays with the employer, with counsel or with the social secretariat. These pages are not legal advice.
Horodata does not present itself as a compliance certificate. An intact journal does not stop an hour that was never clocked. The quality of the file depends on actual use, not on the software alone.
The 90-day window
The downloadable PDF and CSV cover the last 90 days. Older punches stay in the account, with a five-year retention target, but this version does not let you pick an arbitrary export period.
Archive the PDF month by month, with payroll. On the day of a control about an older quarter, those monthly files answer faster than a search on screen. The rhythm matches the file for the secretariat.
Location and a control
If a location was stored, it sits on the entry and in the exports: latitude, longitude, accuracy, time. It exists only for a clock-in or clock-out, after consent. There is no continuous trace of movement.
If the organisation does not require a location, a punch without coordinates is still a valid punch. The geolocation guide describes consent and refusal.
Order of work
- Check open days. Before any request, review missing clock-outs and have pending corrections approved.
- Download the PDF. The PDF of the last 90 days lists the entries, the breaks and the location when one was stored.
- Open the journal. In the app, the hash-chained journal shows the events and the corrections. It is not copied in full into the PDF.
- Add the monthly archives. If the period asked for is longer than 90 days, produce the CSV and PDF files you archived at each payroll run.
