Handing hours to the social secretariat

The social secretariat calculates and pays. The employer supplies the hours worked. Horodata produces that file. It does not run payroll.

Updated October 25, 2026

The file is the handoff

SD Worx, Securex, Partena, Acerta, Group S or another bureau: the path is the same. You send a CSV. This version has no direct connection to their software. Announcing a connector that does not exist wastes time at month end.

Horodata does not calculate gross pay, premiums or contributions. Those rules stay with the secretariat, with the contract and the working-time regime. The register gives them the hours to work from.

What the CSV contains

The download covers the last 90 days. Each row shows the employee, clock-in, clock-out, break minutes and the source. If a location was stored with consent, the latitude, longitude, accuracy and fix-time columns are filled. Otherwise they are empty.

Times are in UTC and come from the server. Your secretariat may ask for a different layout. The Horodata CSV is a clear file to reshape if their template requires it. It is not “the” template of any one bureau.

Before you send it

Review open days, missing clock-outs and odd breaks. A reasoned correction, approved by a manager, is better than a row left “open” until payroll. The original entry stays in the journal.

Keep a copy of the CSV with that month’s payroll file. The export button does not reach back further than 90 days. The monthly archive is what you will find if a question returns later. The register guide explains that limit.

The PDF is not the payroll

The PDF shows the same kind of register, over the same 90-day window, for a human reader. It is for a control, not for calculating wages. The hash-chained journal is read in the app. The inspection file is described in the control guide.

Each export is itself written to the journal. You can see that a file was produced, by whom, and when.

Order of work

  1. Clock. Employees record the start, breaks and end on a phone. The time that counts is the server time.
  2. Review. The employer checks the days. A missing clock-out, on an entry that already exists, goes through a reasoned correction a manager approves. The original entry stays in the journal. A day nobody clocked is not added afterwards.
  3. Download the CSV. In Export, download the CSV of the last 90 days: employee, in, out, break minutes, source, and a location only if one was stored.
  4. Send it to the secretariat. Pass that file to your social secretariat through the channel you already use. Horodata does not connect to their software and does not calculate pay.
  5. Archive it. Keep the CSV with the month’s payroll file, and the PDF if you want a paper reading of the same register.
