Time tracking on a construction site
On site, the day starts far from the office. The register notes the hours actually worked and passes them on for payroll. A location at clock-in is not access control for the site.

A phone, not a wall clock
The employee clocks in, breaks and clocks out on a phone. The timestamp comes from the server. That avoids the notebook copied out on Friday, where the hours look too alike to be checked.
A clock-out forgotten when leaving site is corrected with a reason and a manager’s approval. The miss stays visible in the journal. It is the same path as for any team, described in the register.
A location at clock-in and clock-out
If the company turns it on, a location is requested at the moment of the punch, after consent. It says where the phone was at that instant, with variable accuracy. It does not follow the worker through the day and does not replace a badge, an access log or safety coordination.
Without that requirement, clocking works without coordinates. Deciding to require a location, and whether that is lawful, belongs to the employer. The technical behaviour is in the geolocation guide.
Variable hours and the social secretariat
Weather, a move to another site, a shorter day: the register shows what was clocked, not what the quote assumed. The CSV goes to the social secretariat, which applies the pay rules. Horodata does not calculate travel time, allowances or premiums.
Download the file at each payroll run. The export covers the period you choose, up to five years. A long site is also archived month by month. See the export guide.
Several sites
This version does not create a file per site or a separate site lead in the screen. Employees of one organisation clock into one register. If you need a split by job, it is done outside Horodata, from the exported hours.
The PDF of the entries and the journal in the app are the file you can produce if inspectors ask about working time. They do not describe whether a safety plan is compliant.
