Time tracking for an SME: the register, not the HR suite
Many SMEs do not need a second product for leave, hiring and rotas. They need the hours worked, in a file a social secretariat can read, and in a record they can show.
Updated October 25, 2026
The actual need
Every month someone gathers the hours. Every year, or sooner, someone may ask how those hours were kept. Both questions are about the same time. Handling them in two files that drift apart creates gaps you find too late.
Horodata is that register: review by the employer, a CSV for the secretariat, a PDF and a journal for a control. Three languages, hosting in the European Union, one price. The functions are on the features page.
Broader suites
Products such as Factorial or Clockster often cover planning, absences and part of the personnel file. That is a different scope, useful when the company wants that suite. Horodata does not claim to replace them on those subjects, and does not publish a comparison of their prices.
If your question is “who was in, from which hour to which hour, and how is a mistake corrected”, a register is enough. If your question is “who is on leave on Thursday and what is the rota”, you need a planning tool. Horodata is not one.
What the price includes
A 7-day trial. Then €49 excl. VAT per month up to 40 employees, or €99 excl. VAT per month above that. Both plans include the mobile clock, the journal, the CSV, the PDF and Dutch, French and English. There is no permanent free plan. The figures are on the pricing page.
No hidden module to “unlock” the export. The file for the social secretariat is part of the product, not an add-on. It remains a file: no native connector in this version.
Team size and sectors
The threshold of 40 employees separates the two prices. It does not change the functions. A kitchen team, a site crew or a shop use the same clock: phone, breaks, corrections. The limits of each sector are described without inventing a trade module — hospitality, construction, retail.
The interface reads in Dutch, French and English. Useful when the team and the office do not share a language, which is common in Belgium.
